| Caps |
| Caps are generally soft and often have no brim or just a peak (like on a baseball cap). For many centuries women wore a variety of head-coverings which were called caps. For example, in the 18th and 19th centuries a cap was a kind of head covering made of a flimsy fabric such as muslin; it was worn indoors or under a bonnet. Today however the term cap is mainly used as a reference to the baseball cap. |

| Hats |
| Hats often have a brim all the way around the rim, and may be either placed on the head, or secured with hat-pins (which are pushed through the hat and the hair). Depending on the type of hat, they may be properly worn by men, by women or by both sexes. |

| Baseball Caps |
| A baseball cap is a type of soft cap with a long, stiff brim that may either be curved or flat. The back of the cap may have a plastic, Velcro, or elastic adjuster so that it can be quickly adjusted to fit different wearers. While the baseball cap was initially associated with those who play the game of baseball, now it is often worn as a fashion statement as well as semi-practical headgear. It is very popular across the globe and is sometimes considered a collectible.

| Scarves |
| A scarf is a piece of fabric worn on or near the head or around the waist for warmth, cleanliness, fashion or for religious reasons.
The first scarves were used in Ancient Rome as a tool to keep clean. Called the “sudarium”- which translates from Latin to English as sweat cloth, it was used to wipe the sweat from neck and face in the heat of the desert. Originally scarves were worn by men around their neck or tied to their belt. Soon women started using the scarves, which were made of cloth, or silk, and ever since the scarf has become a fashion accessory among women
